Replacement of electromechanical relays and fuses with solid...
Replacement of electromechanical relays and fuses with solid state devices offers many product advantages in terms of performance, reliability, cost, and maintenance. However, circuit complications can arise when application faults occur. Infineon’s LoadGuard™ and WireGuard™ families of PROFET devices address these concerns and provide the product designer a cost effective approach to tailor the fault performance of the device to their specific application.

Low Voltage Automotive MOSFET Deep Dive: Infineon’s OptiMO...
Low Voltage Automotive MOSFET Deep Dive: Infineon’s OptiMOS™ 7 MOSFET technology offers lower RDSON, faster switching, and Infineon’s robust Automotive Quality. These features enable product designs with less power losses, higher power densities and smaller packages. In this session we will demonstrate how to calculate thermal performance and switching losses to enable cost effective MOSFET selection.
Silicon Carbide (SiC) Discrete MOSFET Deep Dive: SiC offers higher power density, lower switching losses, and higher operational frequencies which enable new topologies. In xEV applications like On Board Charger (OBC), HV to HV DCDC converters, and HV to LV DCDC converters they contribute to decreased packaging volumes, reduced magnetics sizes, reduced cooling requirements and lower overall system costs.
